Informatics and Computer Science


Informatics
Informatics is a branch of science dealing wide enough for most, and associated with many things about life, where a collection of computer science disciplines such as science, and special techniques that use the data in optimal information with information technology or computer.
In the Indonesian language, a term from the French information technology informatique, which is mentioned in the German data derived. Actually the word synonymous with the term informatics and computer science in the United States in Great Britain.
Regarding pendefenisian science, said Philippe Dreyfus (1962) and the Academy Francaise (1967), which defines information as follows:
Collection disciplines (scientific discipline) and the discipline of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering Discipline), specifically the transformation / processing of the "Facts Symbolic (data / information), the main bodies connected machines / computers.
In English has a slightly different meaning, namely more emphasis on aspects of information in a systematic and rational.
When considered as a whole a good understanding of computer science at the top, logic and systematic approach is a fairly dominant feature of the data, because the approach is the key in terms of the solution in solving various problems.
In short, this exhibition highlights how data and information in such a by-assisted automated technology can be processed.
 Terautomatisasi technology not only in a machine, but may involve several machines. This machine is more than one computer. Computer as the main ingredient in this scientific field have done a great height, so the information simply subtracting the way the machine works, how the data in an understandable way by machines, while the information by the people processes to understand how machine can communicate with other machines.
 Informatics science
 In general, information technology, better known as computer science (Computer Science, CS) announced the study of computer science, both hardware (hardware) and software (Software). Information technology includes a variety of topics related to computer, from the abstract analysis of algorithms, to more specific topics such as programming languages, software and hardware. Informatics as a discipline is different from computer programming, software engineering and computer science, even if the third term often misunderstood.
Church-Turing thesis states that all computer equipment, commonly known in these same things, what they can do, albeit with varying efficiency. This theory is sometimes considered pronsip basis of computing. Computer scientists tend to focus on the von Neumann computers or Turing machines, since most computers used today. Computer scientists also study other types of machines, a number of practical (such as parallelism and quantum) and some are highly theoretical (like random and Oracle).
 Informatica to learn what can be done by the program, and what does not (Computing and Artificial Intelligence), because the program results (algorithm), how the program will store and retrieve specific pieces of information (data structures), and how and evaluation of the program to communicate with users (the user interface and programming language).
Computer Science is rooted in electronics, mathematics and linguistics. In the last three decades of the 20th Century, computer science to a new discipline, and developed his own methods and terminology.
 The first computer science department was established at Purdue University in 1962. Almost all universities now have departments of computer science. The highest honor in computer science is the Turing Award, the winner of this award, all pioneers in their field.
